GOSPEL BOUND WITH COLLIN HANSEN
What I'm Seeing

So long as the raging debate over social justice continues to center on social media, unity and progress will not be possible. The medium simply can’t sustain the arguments we need. And it incentivizes tribal, divisive interactions in sound bites.

We need to move the debate to podcasts and books, and that’s why I’m grateful for Confronting Justice Without Compromising Truth from Thaddeus Williams I don’t suspect his book will necessarily convince many in the camp he labels Social Justice B, in contrast to the view he supports, termed Social Justice A. But I do think many readers caught in the middle will gain clarity about what’s at stake.

You’ll hear Williams call us back to the basics: demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit as we engage in biblical theology and evangelism. I’m more hopeful after this conversation than I was before. If we’ll prioritize books and people over social media, we just might see God lead us in a more faithful pursuit of justice.
