We sure do love the psalms! One thing we love is how they teach us to bring every experience and emotion to God, that we might be transformed by him. There’s nothing we can’t take to the Lord; not heartache, grief, betrayal, or even the desire to disconnect from it all. Wendy Alsup knows hardship firsthand, and her new 8-week Bible study, Crying Out to God, helps equip us to lament well and turn to God in our suffering by studying the psalms of lament.

We also love the psalms because they provide wisdom for life in community. This week we’re re-releasing one of our favorite episodes, Kitchen Table Counseling in Your Local Church. Courtney and Melissa discuss ways to love others well by applying Scripture to our struggles. This was such a helpful conversation that we decided to release it a second time!

But there’s another reason for the rerun. We’re all at TGCW26! Over the next few days, we’ll be turning our eyes to Christ through the psalms. If you can’t join us in person, we hope you’ll sign up for the free livestream. And please pray with us that we would all be strengthened in our faith, encouraged by rich fellowship, and equipped to share the hope of Christ with others.
