Paper maps may seem like a relic from the past, but there was a time when you wouldn’t leave home without one. Any good traveler would start her trip by tracing the route to her final destination, noting the landmarks and stops along the way. Passing these markers would confirm she was headed in the right direction.

When we open God’s Word, we also need to keep our eyes on the destination and notice the signs that point to where we’re heading. Scripture is not a collection of disconnected stories but one beautiful story—from beginning to end—that points us to Jesus. He is the answer to every need and the fulfillment of every promise. But in some parts of Scripture, the markers are harder to see than in others.

If you long to see Christ more clearly in all of Scripture, consider joining us for the upcoming women’s cohort, Christ-Centered Teaching. Registration closes on September 26!
