The Slice

We all know the saying, “If you’re going to talk the talk, you need to walk the walk.” For our words to be believable, there needs to be consistency between what we say and how we live. This is especially true for a Christian.

We want our profession of faith to be believable, and that happens when the gap between what we say and how we live is constantly shrinking (this is called sanctification). But, as those who are in process ourselves, what do we do when others profess to follow Jesus but live completely contrary to his teachings?

Miranda Carlise offers timely wisdom, especially for the workplace. She reminds us that we should first examine our own hearts and leave the work of changing someone else’s to the Holy Spirit as we pray for others and engage them with grace and truth.
