On Easter, our churches will gather to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. You and your church will have spent weeks in preparation—reaching out to your community, preparing to welcome guests, rehearsing the music, and writing your sermon. Then, you’ll stand and proclaim, “He is risen indeed!” As Peter declared, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Pet. 1:3, NIV).
Easter Sunday, or Resurrection Sunday, is the most important Sunday for the Christian faith. It’s usually the high attendance mark for the year for local churches. And for pastors like you, it can be one of the busiest seasons, one where you pour yourself out in love—even to the point of exhaustion. That’s one reason I hope you’ll join us for TGC’s National Conference. It’s an opportunity to be refreshed, renewed, and fed.
We want you to see TGC25 as a pastoral retreat, an opportunity for you to be encouraged and find spiritual energy for your next ministry season. When you join us in Indianapolis, you’ll hear seven keynote sessions from the book of Ephesians, have access to 40 breakout sessions, and be able to browse all the new resources in the bookstore. It’s an opportunity for you to catch up with ministry friends, take a short break from pouring yourself out for others, and find life through having God’s Word poured into you. Our theme for the week is Alive Together: Faithful Living for a Faithless Age. We’re praying now that you’ll join us and experience TGC25 as days of refreshing and renewal.
