If I had a list of my favorite articles from each year, Collin Hansen’s list of his favorite articles would be on it. Every December, he picks the most interesting and important pieces published at The Gospel Coalition and puts them into a neat pile.

One reason I love this: It’s so sweet to recall the fascinating conversations (remember when Wes Huff popped on the scene?), the profound insights (like Andrew Wilson in Have We Ever Been Woke?), and mic-drop moments (that time John Piper took down ChatGPT in less than three minutes at the TGC conference!). Our year has been packed with good ideas and insights from faithful brothers and sisters in Christ, and it’s good to remember those gifts from the Lord.

A second reason I love Collin’s column: Every year, I find I’ve missed something. Even though I work for TGC, I don’t catch every great piece on our platform. I love that Collin points me to those. (Case in point: It took me 48 minutes longer than it should have to write this email because I clicked on the Deep Dish episode on covetousness with Jackie Hill Perry.)

Take a look—I bet you’ll find something great to read or reread. And then let’s give thanks to our God, who, thousands of years into history, is still providing an abundance of topics to think and talk about!
