| For the first time in its history, The Gospel Coalition is undergoing a leadership transition. As Don Carson—TGC’s first president—takes up a new role as TGC’s theologian at large, we’re thankful for the history of faithfulness and the stewardship entrusted to us. TGC’s new president, Julius Kim, is no stranger to TGC. Having joined the Council in 2015 and author of Preaching the Whole Counsel of God (Zondervan), Julius has spent the last 20 years at Westminster Seminary California, teaching homiletics, cross-cultural missions, pastoral ministry, and the history of preaching. We’ve published several pieces that will help introduce Kim, his story, and the driving ambition behind his years of ministry: As a staff, we’re thrilled and thankful for God’s provision. TGC’s mission—as a network of like-minded pastors and ministry leaders in the Reformed tradition, applying the truth and beauty of the gospel of Jesus Christ to all of life—will continue by God’s grace.
