Last week’s episode of Life and Books and Everything—a newish podcast co-hosted by Kevin DeYoung, Justin Taylor, and Collin Hansen—featured a conversation I’ve not been able to get out of my head. Tim Keller joined the trio for a wide-ranging discussion about his experience with pancreatic cancer, books that have formed him, the pitfalls of evangelical celebrity, the effects of the Reformed resurgence, and much more (here’s a list with timestamps).

What struck me most wasn’t Keller’s characteristic insight—I expected that. It was his radiant joy and refreshing candor. I’ve heard dozens of interviews with him over the years. Many are great. This one is the best.

Listen if you want to be edified.
