In most cases, the health of an individual’s Christian faith is directly correlated with the extent of their local church involvement. And likewise, the health of global Christianity is synonymous with the health of churches, globally. The church is so indispensable to the life of Christianity that it’s shocking we need reminding to not forsake the assembly (Heb. 10:25). But here we are.

We need to remind each other of the church’s beauty and essential purpose in God’s plan. We need to celebrate the church’s eternal destiny, even as we lament her current failures. We need to have a grittier, for-better-or-for-worse commitment to the bride of Christ. We need to encourage one another to rediscover church.
