| November is an exciting month for TGC and our work serving women. Last week, our Women’s Training Network made its debut, and today, you’re receiving our first issue of the TGC Women newsletter. We added you to this newsletter because you’ve shown interest in a TGC women’s event or a Verity Fellowship event, and we’re excited to send you information about TGC Women events and resources through these monthly emails. This issue highlights our focus of encouraging and equipping women. It has always been true that TGC works to equip the church, including women, as the featured video explains. Below you’ll find faithful articles along similar lines. Don’t miss the encouraging and insightful interview between Nancy Guthrie and Bible teacher Jackie Hill Perry. Also, Amy Gannett reminds us that ministry is often comprised of small, unglamorous tasks—like baking bread—that are nevertheless true kingdom work. And Melissa Kruger encourages moms to look for unexpected opportunities to explain theology to their children. Registration opens today for the first Women’s Training Network events: our Two-Day Intensives in Charlotte, NC and Portland, OR. If you’re interested in growing in your ability to read, apply, and use the Word of God, whether as a public Bible teacher or as a mom desiring to teach theology to her children, we hope you consider joining us for one of our events.
