Update on The City & Evangelicalism

Posted by James Grant

The other day I posted a reference to the new journal called The City, which is published by Houston Baptist University. The summer 2009 issue included a symposium on “younger evangelicals” between John Mark Reynolds, Francis J. Beckwith, and Matthew Lee Anderson. The symposium was a response to Anderson’s article “The New Evangelical Scandal,”
published in the Winter 2008 issue.

The City is in the process of putting up the entirety of the Summer 2009 issue, but in the meantime, they have posted John Mark Reynolds’ response here. Francis Beckwith’s response, “Evangelical Catholicity,” is online here. We’ll let you know when the whole issue goes online.
