“Fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you.” 2 Timothy 1:6
The gift the Lord gave you for ministry – it doesn’t work automatically or effortlessly or mindlessly. Your gift, like a fire, needs constant tending and stoking and stirring. The embers will either grow cold, or they will burst into flame again, and even brighter.
Don’t worry about others recognizing your gift. You develop your gift, and the Lord will give you whatever recognition is right for you.
The gift is in you, not in your circumstances around you. Keep doing well what no one can stop you from doing, because it arises from deep within you.
“To everyone who has will more be given” (Matthew 25:29).
