Kindle Deal: How to Talk So People Will Listen by Steve Brown. $0.99.

Seven of the best articles I came across this week:

1. Jonathan Haidt – When and Why Nationalism Beats Globalism. This article from earlier this fall explains some of what is going on with Brexit and, now, the Trump victory.

2. Bethany Jenkins – The Most Revolutionary Thing a Woman Can Do. Glennon Melton says“The most revolutionary thing a woman can do is not explain herself.” Bethany Jenkins crafts a powerful, gracious response.

3. Tish Harrison Warren – By the Book. If prayer is a craft, we shouldn’t be ashamed to learn from the masters.

4. Ernest Cleo Grant II – The Challenge of Defending the Faith in the Inner City. Good apologetics will address the needs and concerns of various people in various places. That means, urban apologists may need more than the standard tools available.

5. Harvard Crimson – Elephant and Man at Harvard. Good to see an institution that has been in the bubble of left-wing ideology recommending more diverse (i.e. conservative) voices.

6. Andrew Walker – 6 Ways Hacksaw Ridge Illustrates the Centrality of Human Conscience. The age-old American custom of protecting religious dissent.

7. Dan Dodds – More Like Sherlock, Less Like Watson. A good reminder of the importance of focus in a distracting world.
