We explored the theology and practice of churches planting churches as well as the need for theological clarity, cultural engagement, and missional innovation in church planting.

Tony Merida (MDiv; ThM; PhD, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary) is the founding pastor of Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, North Carolina; vice president of planter development for the Send Network; and a Council member of The Gospel Coalition. He’s the author of several books, including Church Planter, Love Your Church, Ruth For You, Gather, Ordinary, Christ-Centered Exposition Commentary Series, The Christ-Centered Expositor, and Orphanology.

Steve Timmis lives in Sheffield, England. He is married to Janet and they have four children and 10 grandchildren. He has co-authored a number of books, including Total Church. You can follow him on Twitter.
