Embracing the Beauty of Diversity

Different races, cultures, and demographics that God intended for his glory have become dividing lines for us, with God’s image-bearers not loving but warring against one another. To reject these wars and embrace the beauty of diversity, we must begin with embracing the glory of God, revealed in Christ his Son. In this workshop, we will aim to unveil the lies that keep us from embracing diversity and replace them with biblical truths that lead us to glorify the Creator of us all.

Jamie Ivey is a podcaster, writer, and speaker from Austin, Texas. She is the proud mama of four kids. Jamie loves to encourage women to passionately follow Jesus through all stages of life. Itohan Omolere is an artist, advocate, and abolitionist. As a disciple, Itohan is committed to a life witness that champions love and justice. Through her work in creative writing, song, activism, and education, Itohan is a voice for the equality and freedom of black people, persecuted Christians, the urban poor, women, and other marginalized people groups. Jackie Hill Perry has been compelled to share the light of gospel truth through teaching, writing, poetry, and music since coming to know Christ at the age of nineteen. She is the author of several books and Bible studies and has been featured on The Washington Times, The 700 Club, Desiring God, The Gospel Coalition, and other publications. She and her husband, Preston, have four children and live in the Atlanta area.
