Dr. Helen Roseveare, who died on December 7, 2016, served as a medical missionary in the Congo between 1953 and 1973. Roseveare experienced extraordinary answers to prayer alongside horrific suffering, including beatings and rape. This biographical workshop will give special attention to that juxtaposition and consider the question, “Did the same loving God send both?”
