One of the most visible changes of the Reformation was the (re-)emergence of pastors’ wives and families. It remains a visible point of difference between Roman Catholic and Protestant churches. We will look at the biblical reasons for this change, and learn from our Reformation sisters how true service of God is found within the family and everyday life—not in the nunnery. They will help us see our priestly calling as women, wives, and mothers, and especially as pastors’ wives.
