Redefining Work (Panel)

What is work, and how do we see it through the lens of Holy Scripture? From Genesis to Revelation we can trace a gospel-centered vocational theology. Yet a biblically faithful theology of work is often overlooked, misunderstood, and distorted in our churches. If we are going to better integrate our faith and our work, we must reframe and wholeheartedly embrace a faithful theology of work

Bob Doll is chief investment officer and portfolio manager at Crossmark Global Investments, a faith-based management firm. He appears regularly on Fox Business News, Bloomberg, CNBC, and MoneyWise to discuss the economy and financial markets. He also serves as choir director at his local church and sits on a number of boards, including the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, Christianity Today, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Greg Forster (PhD, Yale University) is the director of the Oikonomia Network, an assistant professor of faith and culture at Trinity International University, and the author of numerous books and articles.

Tim Keller (MDiv, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; DMin, Westminster Theological Seminary) was founder of Redeemer Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Manhattan, chairman of Redeemer City to City, and co-founder of The Gospel Coalition. He wrote numerous books, including The Reason for God. He and his wife, Kathy, had three children.

Katherine Leary Alsdorf is founder and director emeritus of Redeemer’s Center for Faith & Work.
