Sung lament is a lost art in too many churches. Consequently, many contemporary Christians are oblivious to the blessings that come from groaning our griefs before the throne of grace—and doing so together in song. This workshop explores why we’ve lost this art, how we can recover it, and, most importantly, the chief benefits that flow from voicing our lamentations in congregational songs.
