Job Overview

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE We are seeking a Technical Arts Director who is passionate about using audio, video, lighting, and creative production to support the proclamation of God’s Word and the worship life of Snohomish Community Church. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves Jesus, thrives in live production environments, and enjoys building and shepherding volunteer teams. The Technical Arts Director will oversee all AVL systems and production elements for weekend services and ministry events while cultivating excellence, clarity, and creativity in how SCC communicates the gospel.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO SCC At SCC, we believe excellence in communication bolsters faithful gospel proclamation. Every sermon, song, testimony, and ministry moment is supported through technical arts. We want people leaving our events and services, not with the ‘wow factor’ of an amazing production, but with a growing awe of our amazing God. In a visually driven and technology-saturated culture, this role helps remove distractions and create environments where people can clearly hear, see, and respond to the truth of Scripture. The Technical Arts Director plays a vital role in shaping worship environments that are distraction-free, Christ-centered, and mission-aligned.
