Job Overview

West Hills Community Church is looking for our next pastor of worship!
Use your musical skills, spiritual gifts, and pastoral experience to lead and shepherd the worship ministry. This position will lead planning and execution of Sunday worship gatherings, recruiting and developing volunteer musicians and vocalists, overseeing audio/visual technology, and fostering a church-wide culture of Christ-centered, engaging worship. Why you should want to be our Worship Pastor:

  1. Morgan Hill is an awesome place to live. Located just south of San Jose, California, Morgan Hill is a family-friendly and fast-growing suburban city of 46,000 people at the southern end of the Silicon Valley in the Bay Area (population 7,000,000). It’s a city with a small-town feel, yet it’s only a short drive away from all the natural beauty and amenities the Bay Area has to offer. Some of the best restaurants and the most breathtaking views in the entire country are within an hour’s drive.
  2. The need and opportunity for the gospel here is massive. The Bay Area is consistently rated as THE MOST unchurched metropolitan area in the country. Large tech companies draw people from all over the world searching for wealth and success—our church exists to preach that only Christ can satisfy. The need for the gospel here is huge, but so is the opportunity.
  3. West Hills is an incredible church. For over 40 years, West Hills Community Church has been a light for the Christ in our community. We are a Bible-centered, gospel-centered, complementarian, and soteriologically-reformed church that strives to live like Christ and according to his word every day. Plus, if you become our next Worship Pastor, you’ll get to work alongside an awesome team of pastors and staff who will support you in every way they can.
