Molly Worthen

Molly Worthen is an American historian and writer. She is currently a professor of history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the author of several books, including Apostles of Reason: The Crisis of Authority in American Evangelicalism. Worthen’s writing has also appeared in The New York Times, Slate, The New Yorker, and other publications.
